Managing the full product lifecycle is complex. Discovery, definition, delivery, and launches involve many time‑consuming tasks. The AI assistant accelerates this work, but it can be hard to know where to begin and how to set consistent best practices across the team. The AI library provides ready‑to‑use prompts for product development: requests to start an interaction, instructions that codify your organization’s style and workflows, and agents that interpret goals and take multistep action using record context. Choose a ready‑made prompt, customize it for your workflow, and bring consistency to how your team uses the AI assistant.

Overview
The AI prompt library is a curated collection of AI prompts — requests, instructions, and agents — built for product development work. Open the library from the AI assistant or your personal or workspace settings to find proven ways to get started, then tailor prompts to your needs. This helps you move faster on common tasks and bring consistency to how your team uses AI.
Prompt is the umbrella term for everything in the library. There are three types of prompts:
Requests tell the AI assistant what you want it to do (such as summarizing feedback, drafting a message, or generating ideas).
Instructions contain specific guidance on how to structure output (such as your company's style guide, team workflows, or preferences).
Agents are intelligent tools that understand your goals and take action without needing detailed instructions each time.
Each type of prompt can use context from Aha! records to perform tasks for you.
Use the menu under the search bar in the upper-left to filter by prompt type.
The My prompts section of the AI prompt library includes four subsections:
All: All custom prompts you have access to
Workspace: All prompts in your workspace settings
Personal: All prompts in your personal settings
Favorites: Prompts that you marked as a favorite. Your list of favorites is unique to you.
The More prompts section offers prompts curated by Aha! that are aligned to stages in the product development lifecycle.
Access the library
Contributors can open the library without leaving the current record. Select the sparkle icon to open the AI assistant. From here, you can open the library in several ways:
Click the Agents dropdown and select Search the library.
Click the + Add menu and select Search the library.
You can also access the library from your workspace or personal settings:
Click the User menu, then go to Settings -> Personal -> AI prompts or Settings -> Workspace -> AI prompts.
Click Add. Then, select Search the library.
Use a prompt from the library
When accessing the library from the AI assistant:
Hover over any prompt in the library and select Use request, Use instruction, or Use agent.
-
This will apply the selected prompt to the AI assistant chat automatically. Return to the library to add additional prompts to fit your use case.
You can select an agent, one or more instructions, and a prompt to submit to the AI assistant in a single chat. Any prompts you select will paste their contents directly to the chat box.
Click the arrow button to send the selected prompts to the AI assistant.
When accessing the library from your personal or workspace settings:
Hover over any prompt in the library and click Add request, Add instruction, or Add agent.
The selected prompt will open in a create modal in your settings. Customize and save it for future use in the AI assistant.
Add prompts to the library
Where you store prompts determines where they appear in the library. When you add new prompts, pick the location based on who needs the prompt today and who will rely on it over time.
Workspace prompts
Workspace prompts centralize requests, instructions, and agents so everyone follows the same tone, structure, and review steps. When the team uses the same vetted prompts, work becomes faster and more consistent — drafts align to standards, automated agents run the right steps, and quality improves across records.
Navigate to User menu -> Settings -> Workspace -> AI prompts. You need owner permissions to do this.
Click Add and select the prompt type you want to add.
Enter the prompt details. Be specific and add as much detail as possible. Use the sparkle icon for AI's assistance in drafting the prompt.
If you are creating an agent, select Capabilities (the actions the agent can take).
(Optional) Check the box next to Favorite if you want the prompt to appear in your personal Favorites menu.
Click Add to save the prompt to the library.
Personal prompts
Personal prompts are ideal for exploration and experimentation. Use them to try new requests or instructions, capture individual preferences that are not ready for broad use, and draft variants for specific work without changing team guidance. Once an approach consistently delivers strong results, you can promote it to a workspace so everyone benefits.
Navigate to User menu -> Settings -> Personal -> AI prompts. You can also click Create custom prompt from the bottom-left of the library to navigate directly there.
Click Add and select the prompt type you want to add.
Enter the prompt. Provide clear, thorough details.
If you are creating an agent, select Capabilities (the actions the agent can take).
(Optional) Check the box next to Favorite if you want the prompt to appear in your personal Favorites menu.
Click Add to save the prompt to your personal library.
If you get consistently good results from a personal prompt, you can move it to a workspace so the whole team can use it:
Open the More options button for the prompt and select Move.
Choose the destination Workspace, then select Move to workspace.
Mark favorite prompts
You will use some prompts frequently. Mark go‑to prompts as favorites to surface them at the top of AI assistant menus for quick access.
Select the Favorite option while creating or editing a prompt.
In the library under My prompts, hover over an item and select the star.
In the AI assistant chat, star a prompt to add it to personal favorites.
(Optional) Drag and drop favorites to reorder them from the Favorites menu of the library to control menu order within the AI assistant.
